1. Who We Are

MentraHQ (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at www.mentrahq.com and the MentraHQ curriculum generation software. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at francesca.lola.v@gmail.com.

2. Information We Collect

• Email address — collected when you create an account, used to send your one-time login code and service-related communications.
• Payment information — if you upgrade to Pro, your payment is processed by Stripe. MentraHQ never sees or stores your card details.
• Uploaded documents — PDFs and Word files you upload to generate a curriculum. These are processed in memory only and are not stored on our servers after generation completes.
• Generated curricula — saved to your browser's local storage on your device. MentraHQ does not store your generated curricula on our servers.
• Usage data — basic logs (page visits, error reports) used to maintain and improve the service. No personal browsing profiles are built.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the MentraHQ service
• To authenticate your account and manage your subscription
• To process payments and manage billing
• To respond to your support requests
• To improve the software based on usage patterns

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your uploaded documents to train or fine-tune any software model.

4. Third-Party Services

MentraHQ uses the following third-party providers:

• Clerk — handles account creation, authentication, and session management. Clerk Privacy Policy
• Stripe — processes all payments for Pro subscriptions. Stripe Privacy Policy
• Vercel — hosts the MentraHQ application and serves web traffic. Vercel Privacy Policy
• Anthropic — processes the text extracted from your uploaded documents to generate curriculum content. Documents are submitted to Anthropic's API and are subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train its models by default.

5. Cookies

MentraHQ uses session cookies managed by Clerk to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels.

6. Data Retention

Your account and email address are retained while your account is active. Uploaded documents are deleted immediately after curriculum generation. Generated curricula are stored only in your browser's local storage — they are never sent to our servers. If you delete your account, your email and account data are removed from our systems.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at francesca.lola.v@gmail.com. You may also delete your account directly from your account settings.

8. Children's Privacy

MentraHQ is intended for use by educators and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of MentraHQ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
